Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Team Boss platform, website, and services operated by Team Boss LLC. By accessing or using Team Boss, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you are using Team Boss on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms. In that case, “you” refers to both you individually and the organization.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the platform.

Team Boss grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the platform for your organization's lawful youth sports management purposes, subject to these Terms.

• You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or agree to these Terms on behalf of an organization.
• You agree to use the platform only for its intended purpose of managing youth sports organizations, teams, programs, and communications.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and for maintaining the security of your login credentials.
• You agree not to access the platform through automated means, bots, or scrapers without our express written permission.

Access to Team Boss is granted through an invite-only system. Organizations must receive an invitation from Team Boss to create an account on the platform.

Team Boss reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or threaten the security of the platform or other users.

Organization administrators are responsible for the appropriate use of Team Boss within their organization and agree to the following.

• Obtaining all necessary parental consents before registering minors or enabling communications features for players under 18.
• Ensuring that all staff and coaches invited to the platform are authorized representatives of your organization.
• Maintaining accurate organization and roster information and promptly updating records when changes occur.
• Complying with applicable laws and regulations, including COPPA, regarding the collection and handling of information about minors.
• Using the platform's financial features only for legitimate organizational purposes.

Organization administrators are the data controllers for their organization's data within Team Boss. Team Boss acts as a data processor on behalf of organizations for purposes of applicable data protection laws.

Team Boss operates on a subscription model with a platform fee and a transaction rate applied to payments processed through the platform.

Team Boss reserves the right to change pricing with 30 days written notice to active subscribers.

You retain ownership of all data you enter into the Team Boss platform, including organization information, rosters, schedules, financial records, and communications.

By using Team Boss, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the platform services to you. We do not claim ownership of your data and will not use it for any purpose other than operating and improving the platform.

Upon termination of your account, you may request an export of your organization's data within 30 days. After the export period, your data will be deleted in accordance with our data retention policy.

The Team Boss platform — including all software, design, branding, features, and documentation — is owned by Team Boss LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

• The Team Boss name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of Team Boss LLC. You may not use our trademarks without prior written permission.
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the platform or its underlying technology.
• You may not reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the platform software.
• Any feedback or suggestions you provide may be used by us without compensation or attribution.

The following activities are strictly prohibited on the Team Boss platform. Violation may result in immediate account suspension and legal action.

• Using the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, state, or federal law.
• Uploading or transmitting content that is harmful, threatening, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform or any other account.
• Using the platform to contact or communicate with minors in any manner inconsistent with its intended purpose and applicable law.
• Impersonating any person or entity or misrepresenting your affiliation with any organization.
• Interfering with or disrupting the integrity or performance of the platform.
• Collecting or harvesting personal information from other users without their consent.

The Team Boss platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

Team Boss does not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. We do not warrant that the platform will meet your specific requirements or that any defects will be corrected within a specific timeframe.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Team Boss disclaims all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Team Boss LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the platform.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total fees paid by you to Team Boss in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred dollars ($100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Team Boss LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses — including reasonable legal fees — arising out of or connected with your access to or use of the platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

Either party may terminate use of Team Boss at any time. You may terminate your account by contacting us at support@teamboss.tech or via the in-app Delete Account flow. We may terminate or suspend your access immediately if you violate these Terms.

• Upon termination, your right to access and use the platform will immediately cease.
• We will provide you the opportunity to export your organization's data for 30 days following termination.
• Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Cook County, Illinois, except that either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm.

You and Team Boss agree that any arbitration shall be conducted on an individual basis and not as a class or collective action.
